The 24 hour Film Racing challenge, which provides filmmakers two pieces of criteria that must be creatively included in a film that must be 4 minutes or less and fully executed in 24 hours time. 41 teams entered competition and The Hornet was awarded 'Best Acting Ensemble' (Jen & Sylvia Soska), Best Visual Effects (Jeffrey Zablotny), and was selected as one of the Top 5 Best Films.
